Foscoe Fishing Company had its beginnings in the mid 1980’s and was originally called High Country Fly Fishing. It has always been an Orvis dealer and the guide and outfitter service has always been Orvis Endorsed. It was the first high profile fly shop in the area offering gear, guides and schools.

We are especially excited about our new location on the Watauga River. The new shop is our permanent location and has a classroom offering fly fishing schools and fly tying classes. We have access to the Watauga River out the back door and offer an even wider variety of products.

In addition to being a full line Orvis dealer we offer Sage, Simms, Umpqua, Rio, Fishpond, and Rising Fish gear. We also have a great selection of gifts and books related to fishing.

Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service both in the shop and on the water. We are all extremely experienced anglers and are passionate about fishing. All of the guides are full time professionals that take their jobs very seriously; they are just as interested in putting you on fish as teaching you new techniques and strategies. We as guides enjoy introducing you to the sport and equally enjoy taking out the veteran anglers.
